Painters Tape for Charts - 2" Wide

Tips: Avoid the generic brands! Scotch and Frog tape work best. Go with wide or extra wide. This is a value pack of the 2". We use this tape to protect the walls. HOWEVER, masking tape stays up longer, and mounting putty works better on textured surfaces.

It's a bit spendy, but worth it if you can swing it! Consider Post It Chart paper for Chants, the Inquiry Chart, Exploration Report, Cognitive Content Dictionary, ABC Book, and other "smaller" charts. (We found the super sticky post it brand to be the stickiest!)

Twistable Colored Pencils Set - 50 Count

This is our favorite accountability tool for team tasks. Each students adds their work in their own color. All tasks need all four colors. It's OK for different teams to have different colors. Avoid yellow and extra light colors.

Colored Pencils - Team Tasks

This is a class set of 240 CRAYOLA colored pencils. There are other brands that cost less, but we've found a big difference in the quality. Make sure to set up a procedure for pencil sharpening before starting. :)

Every team has a color associated with it. And yes, we're crazy about color coding! These are sturdy caddies from Teacher Created Resources. 6 primary colors in the set (but avoid yellow as a team color).

Pants hangars? Not to us! These are our Team Task Hangars! The white wood style makes it easy to add the team's color right on the hangar. Teams store their (11x17 paper) team tasks on the hangars for easy clean up and distribution.

Oxford Two-Pocket Folders, Assorted Colors, Letter Size, 25 Per Box. In Project GLAD®, each student has a portfolio in their team's color that holds their work for that unit of study. Hint: yellow is not a team color as it is too hard to see when writing in the team's color.

Oxford 2 Pocket Folders, Textured Paper, Assorted Colors, Letter Size, 25 Per Box. This is the second set of colors you'll need for a full class set. While these portfolios are extra sturdy, it's always ok to use construction paper and/or bring in virtual portfolios as well.

Younger students love to use their own pointers when doing the strategy called Read the Walls or tracking as they read their chants and booklets. This set of student pointers includes 20 11.8" pointers. Learning is fun!
